Technical Background:
This images here in this site are composed of jpeg reductions of extremely high resolution TIFF
images created from RAWs from 6x7cm Pentax/Takumar medium format negative equipment
scans.
In nearly all cases, only 25 ASA films were (the now discontinued Ektar 25 in almost cases)
used and virtually all had full tripod support. Their resolution is so great that 4x5 FEET wall
sized exhibitions have been made from some of them with no visible grain.
They were all created by combining mixed-media, sculpture with medium format photography to
create the resultant images you'll see here. These works were created over a ten year period
from the early 1990s to the present.
Of course, only the finished composites in digital photographic formats (JPEG) are on this
website. The originals are of extremely high resolutions suitable for mural-sized enlargement if
need be.
I apologize for the reduced resolution as this was done for quick loading of each page on the
Internet. The originals are extremely high resolution as described above.
Hopefully, despite the reduction of resolution to facilitate speedy website loading, you should be
able to enjoy the image in it's entirety here. I'm honored to finally released part of my 2000+
